Material

Aluminum truss skinned with riffle strips

Status

Rendering, not built

Rendered models of sculptures made in LineWorks, a tool I wrote that generates a path from site data, such as a river's streamflow record, and builds it as an aluminum truss skinned in overlapping strips. The series shows the sculptures placed in photographs of roundabouts, then up close: the strips riveted over the tubular truss, the posts, and the base plates with anchor rods. A proposal sheet shows the truss detail, two elevations, and the plan, with overall dimensions. Not built.
