Professor Kelly Goff and summer student collaborator Nick Allario ‘29 are developing this temporary public artwork. It’s under construction, so please use caution as you navigate the area.
As an extension of Professor Goff’s Continuous Line series of sculptures, the artists are working with recyclable industrial drain pipe. The material is pliable enough to be shaped intuitively while responding to the unique conditions offered by the site’s architecture and landscape.
Wheaton’s campus provides numerous opportunities for pathfinding and trailblazing both literally and figuratively. This linear sculpture abstractly represents just one playful “trajectory” among countless others.
