Alaskan timber, harvested and processed by hand at its origin and then shipped East in the form of crates. Fourteen nesting crates shipped from a remote part of Alaska via boat, planes, and trucks. The crates contain only a musical work, Passage, 2014, which plays on headphones connected to one of the crates. Passage, 2014 is a collaboration with composer Ben Wasserman. Largest crates: 24 x 24 x 72 inches. Installation dimensions: 2 x 6 x 14 feet.
